National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Diley Ridge Medical Center and the City of Canal Winchester, in cooperation with the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration, are hosting a Prescription Drug Take-Back event on Saturday, October 28 in the parking lot at Diley Ridge.

It’s a great opportunity to safely, conveniently and responsibly dispose of your unused, unwanted or expired prescription medicines, which are too often flushed down the toilet or otherwise thrown away unsafely. And you’ll be able to do so anonymously, with no questions asked.

Please note that only pills will be accepted – no needles, sharps or liquid medications, including inhalers and their refills.

So stop by Saturday, October 28 anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The event is free, and you’ll be doing a good thing for the safety of your family and the community.
